How the Platform Works
phoneAtrade connects customers and tradespeople directly. Customers can search by trade and ZIP code, browse ranked profiles, read reviews, save favorites, and share pros with friends — all without creating an account. Creating an account unlocks saving favorites, writing reviews, and building shared lists with your network.
Tradespeople create free listings that include their business name, trade category, service area, bio, credentials, and contact info. As they collect verified customer reviews, they advance through our ranking tiers, earning greater visibility in search results.
Our AI assistant, Pat, is available on every page to answer questions, help customers describe their project, and guide tradespeople through optimizing their profiles.
The Road Ahead
phoneAtrade launched as a community-first marketplace, and that's what it will remain. Pros can already message customers directly, request reviews, manage their portfolio, and receive matched job leads through our Get 3 Quotes system. Coming next: project management tools, expanded geographic coverage, and deeper community features.
